ABOUT

Stout Oak Farm is a 58 acre farm in Brentwood, New Hampshire, located on the historic farm property known as Creamery Brook Farm. We grow 4 acres of vegetables for CSA shares, farmers' markets, and local restaurants. In 2012 we will also be opening a new Farm Store, which will be stocked with our own vegetables, herbs, cut flowers, and seedlings for home vegetable gardeners, as well as other products raised by our friends at other local farms.

We moved to Brentwood in the late fall of 2011, and we are currently in the process of completing our Organic Certification application for our new fields. As new stewards of this historic farm, we are committed to taking good care of the land, and providing delicious, healthy food for our community.

Our Farming Practices
Kate has been an organic vegetable grower for the past 12 years, having worked for and managed Certified Organic vegetable farms in California, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. We choose to use ecologically sound farming practices, demonstrating our commitment to enhance soil health, use resources efficiently, create a safe working environment for ourselves and our crew, and grow safe healthy food. As of January 2012, we are in the process of completing our application for Organic Certification for our fields at our new location.
